Case 5: Metal Free Fillings

This is the same patient as in case #4 just different teeth. He had silver fillings in his mouth that had been there "forever". After a few years, silver (amalgam) fillings can corrode, chip and begin to leak. This can lead to sensitivity and recurrent decay. His metal fillings were removed and replaced with composite resin filling material.
