DR. RAY MORGAN: Veneers are ceramic restorations or porcelain restorations that basically cover the fronts and sometimes the sides of your teeth. And the veneer process takes really about as long as it takes to get a filling or either a crown in a dental office. There's more homework involved for the doctor because we do a small analysis and design the smile. But after we do our part, the part that you experience in the chair is really about the same as a crown or a filling.
When we place veneers on our patients you can get some amazingly dramatic results. You know, whether it's just changing one tooth or changing your entire smile, we can really change a lot. We can change the size, the shape, the color and what's great about it is, if we are changing a smile you can pick out really the smile that you want. So the results are dramatic. They really are.
